Morton in the Community Girls Presentation Night
25th November 2023
On Saturday we had our Girls Presentation night at the Greenock Town Hall. This was a night to celebrate the success of our Girls Pathway.
We had 5 age groups in attendance and the Town Hall was filled with families and friends there to support the girls!
First up, we had our club awards for the under 8's, under 10's and u12's. All the girls received an award from each team to celebrate their hard work throughout the season.
We then moved on to our under 12 outstanding achievment awards, this award is given for the effort, attitude and contribution given to Morton in the Community teams.
U12's Blue winner - Milie Cunningham
U12's Yellow winner - Lucy McGachy
U12's White winner - Lyla Williams
Well done to the three girls who picked up these awards, keep up the good work!
These awards were then followed by a race night before we moved on to the under 14's and under 16's.
All players recieved their club awards for their amazing efforts throughout the season!
We then went on to the individual awards.

U16's - Outstanding Achievement - Ava McLeod
U16s - Player of the Year - Abigail Duffy and Lily Memim
U16's Top Goalscorer - Rebecca Scally
Well done to everyone who recieved an award!
The last award given out on the night was the Billy Sharp Memorial award. This award went to someone who goes above and beyond their role to contribute to Morton in the Community, just like Billy did in his time with the club.
This award went to U16's Captain - Laila Davidson
Laila plays a key role in helping coach in the girls pathway, assisting with camps and helping establish our women's recreational football which is thriving.
Well done Laila!
This presentation night was a huge success and a special way to celebrate the girls pathway. A huge thank you to Colin McEachnie who worked tirelessely to make this event the success it was.
Thank you to all the staff, vounteers, and parents who continue to offer amazing opportunities.
