Youth Performance League Update (Girls)

01/10/2025

Over the past few months, our committee has been working steadily with the SWF to prepare for entry into the YPL in 2026. This has involved making sure we fully understand the acceptance criteria and putting the right structures in place to meet them.
On Monday 29th September, we met with the SWF to review these requirements and are pleased to share that good progress has been made, with the club on track to meet the standards expected.
Lead Coaches
We’re delighted to confirm that we now have two Lead Coaches appointed for our U14 and U16 YPL teams:
  • U16s YPL – Sean Jamieson
Sean is a familiar face within Morton Community Club, having worked with several teams and players. He understands our values and is committed to what we are striving to achieve as a club.
  • U14s YPL – Scott Laird
Scott brings a wealth of experience from the grassroots game as well as his one-to-one coaching business. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the team.
Trials
Trials for our YPL teams will be taking place on the following dates (venue to be confirmed):
